The Red Deer Saddle Club hosts an annual rodeo with chuck wagon and chariot racing, gymkhana and horse show events in the show arena during the summer months.

Another excellent facility is the Nine-Hole Golf Course with grass greens on a slightly rolling landscape featuring tree-lined fairways that can be a challenge to any golfer.

Visit Heritage Park: it consists of a Village depicting Hudson Bay Junction in 1909. The Park contains a Tea House, Rail Station, Craft Shop, General Store, School, War Memorial Home, 2 Churches, Print Shop, Blacksmith Shop, Homestead and Barn, a unique collection of John Deere tractors and much more.
